Didn't Glenn McGrath say that in 2005.

Both teams have made conservative choices in team selection - I think this one will be a draw. Provided we get two centurians in our first innings, which I think we will, it's a stick on.

yeah and its the only time Mcgrath has ever been wrong!! not to mention the games he played in England didnt win any of them!!

yeah Im just kidding hope no 5-0 want it to be close like before

cant see it Manker teams just cant handle the Gabba here first up they find it hard to adjust bowling and batting with the bounce and Warne loves bowling on the 2nd and last day on it I reckon you guys will have to follow on.. Sydney and Melborune will suit you guys with the swing bowling

McGrath hasn't looked anything special since he's come back ... bet I'm gonna eat my words tho'!

I'm more worried about Brett Lee and Warne on this pitch because it's made our fast-medium seamers look ordinary. Hopefully McGrath or Clark won't get much out of it either.

Definitely need one of the openers (has to be Strauss) to get a century and then one of the middle order too to avoid having to follow on. If you get us out before we pass that target, we're fooked!

So what ya saying - that based on the first Ashes test, Australia are looking a much better cricket team than England.

:o :o :o :o :o

You should be like one of those expert analists on the telly.

well seeing as we have won 12 out of our last 13 tests and england have only won 6 out of their last 13 and we are ranked number 1 in the ICC rankings and arguably have the greatest spinner of all time one of the best fast bowlers of all time and the best wicket keeper of all time and smashing the poms by 277 runs and atm have the best batsman in the world at this moment

then yes Aust are a better team then England

tell you what if your any chance in Adelaide on Friday you have to win the toss

if Aust win the toss its game over red rover we havnt lost a game in Aust batting first in about 20 years

What a disaster. I can't believe England collapsed like that.

England should have drawn this test, but they messed that up pretty good so deserve to lose, now they only need to win 3 straight tests to win, lol.

They might have won it if they had had a slog at 550 for 6. If they had posted a score of 650+ then Australia would have almost certainly followed on. I thought it an odd decision at the time.

oh FFS he declared because he didnt want a draw he need to give them a chance to win the game they were down 1-0

how was Flintoff to know they would collapse like that on the last day

if he went on batting and got 700 there would have been people calling for Flintoffs head for being negative and playing out a boring draw

in the end it was the pathetic england batting in the 2nd innings that cost them

a dumb Bell run out flintoff swish thew his wicket away however Stouss shouldnt have been out

Adster

BUMP

now let me tell you all now I TOLD YOU SO told you it would be 5-0 everything I said was correct

Aust= Unbeatbale 19 tests in a row

can anyone stand up?

sure Mcgrath is retiring no problem we beat South Africa 3-0 in SA without him Clark stands up easy
out goes Langer in goes Jaques thats easy
out goes Martyn In goes Symonds no problem gets 150
Warne maybe this is the only player we will miss
