Passive Mode? Guru Needed :)

Allrighty Then, I hate the search result in DC Plus that says "Search not Allowed in passive mode". I dont know what this means or how to fix it. I am behind a netgear router and supposibly all ports are open. When I try to use Active mod and do a search I get nothing. In active mode what ip do I use and what port? Do I need to list a port or is this even close. My provider is Qwest.

read that last post in that link and see if that helps other then that I dont use dc plus so I cant tell you any more sorry.
