My best present...well, getting a PC was pretty cool but I would have to say that my favouritest present would have to be either my guitar or the necklace my sister got me (i have a wee bit that says L'il sis, she's got the "big sis" bit!)

Well this didn't happen to me personally, but my best friend got a brand new car for Christmas. He had a crappy car and his parents went out and bought him a brand new one. I tried to move in so that I could get on their Christmas list, but they wouldn't let me :( . Needless to say I was quite jealous of him for a while.

I have two best presents:

First is the tattoo I got from Bender for my 18th birthday (ok, I didn't get untill I was 19, but it's the thought that counts)
Second:
Two weeks ago I turned 20 and as a present Petri sang Happy Birthday in Finnish, that really meant a lot to me. Was one of the sweetest things someone ever did for me.

i don't know the best present i got...my parents haven't remembered my b-day since i was 12. but i gave a cool present once... my husband wrote this poem about a bird. he didn't even think i paid attention to it. but for our first (and poor) valentine's day, i typed and framed it. it only cost a dollar. he was so happy he cried. that was the cheapest and yet best present ever.

I think the 2600 came out around 1977 or 78. A few years later there was the 5200, and I think there was also a 7800 after that (by that time I had moved on to Colecovision, and then Commodore-64). My favorite 2600 games were Superman and Adventure. I could finish each game in under 2 minutes, but I still played them over and over again. :D

I'm gonna brag a bit here, so please excuse me:

I was given a lovely wallet for my birthday made out of "Rice Paper" with writing paper inside, also made of rice paper, by the georgous Joan Jett way back in 1985 when she did a tour here 1985. It also had beautifully coloured prints on the outside. I was her Road Manager just for that part of her tour and they had just been to Japan. That has to rank as one of my top 10 presents anyway.

Believe it or not, one of the best presents also given to me has to be an electric water coker (for making tea) given by a friend one xmas years ago. Still got it and its the most usefull appliance i have in the kitchen.
