Problem with logging in - TB

yeah exactly when i try to log in it says:

please enable references in your firewall / browser and try again

well it didnt help (i have windows media center + kaspersky internet security 6). And i tried to add two lines to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
as shown at the TB main page, well it didnt help as well............

please help guys

Ideally, you should only have one entry in your hosts file:
localhost 127.0.0.1 ...

I received this msg when trying to log into TB with Firefox :

Please enable referers in your firewall or browser and try again

I didn't have to change any thing in my hosts file to remedy the prob.

changing the value of Network.http.sendRefererHeader (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.http.sendRefererHeader) in firefox from 0 to 1, or the default of 2 fixed the problem for me.

You can change the value of this setting by typing about:config in firefox url bar or add this line to user.js


user_pref("network.http.sendRefererHeader", 1); // default 2
