OK, I'm kind of new to this stuff. I have downloaded a number of full-length movies and want to put them on CD's. However, many of the movies are too big for the 650mb or 700 mb CD's that are now being sold. Are there any solutions? If the only option is to split the movie between 2 CD's, can anyone tell me how to do that?

The best way to learn this stuff is to go here (http://www.dvdrhelp.com) and follow one of the guides in the left hand panel. It has EVERYTHING you could ever want to know.

A good site, thanks. I've nothing I want to covrert right now but I've bookmarked it for future reference.

As a newbie to filesharing I've found this one usefull.
http://filext.com/
"Welcome to FILExt, the file extension source. FILExt is a detailed database of file extensions and programs that use them. "

Old hands will know what extension is for what type of media and what to play/unpack it with, I didn't, this site helped. It does have 1 pop-up but it closes easily and I've only seen 1.
