At the end of grade 12 I was regularly skipping english 'cause I hate that class.

Sometimes, but I graduated with honours and picked up a couple scholarships, so I guess it didn't really matter.

Of course, I just figured out what I want to do with my life NOW, which means I'll be well in my 30s before I actually get to do it. :(

I did quite a few times but I would always cover my ass. By either calling into the school and pretending to be my dad, or by just forging a note and bring it in for teachers the next day. :lol:

My first 8yrs of school "Catholic" that is, were quite helpful. Unfortunately, I was ousted from home at 15. I did hang out at H.S everyday though. I just never went to classes. I was an avid reader & gleaned as much as I could from hipster books during the 1970's. I received a G.E.D while in a 2 year residential rehab in 1985, and went on to attend 2 semesters of college.
My brain is now full of useless bits of trivia, this helps me excel while watching "Jeopardy." lol

I try to make it to class, but there are those days when you just don't feel like going.

With the 8 hours of my life wasted at school everyday, I could learn the same amount of material and more in less than 3 and have time for other more "constructive" activities. :yup:

Did skip school with a my friends a few times in second year at high school. Unfortunately we were caught and the retribution was a tad painful so was a lot more circumspect thereafter.

I "dogged" about a years worth of school in total, didn't realise it was that much until they confronted my paretns with my attendance registers.... Hmm that was a fun!! :D

We got a new set of administrators in our school..and they have started to crack down on this stuff. Before last year you could do what you want..and get 3 days suspension MAX.

Now its suspensions for having cellphones out...
