invite system? usenet isnt like bittorrent.

There are NO good free usenetservers.

You need to pay because the servers need to pay their high bills ;)

ok
i understand that even if there are some free news server, they limit the download

You need to pay because the servers need to pay their high bills :whistling
youre joking right? lol
with how much they get off you, they could pay a server for a year =))
they could get money for the server from donations, from adds... so many things ... whatever
i know now that im not interested in this kind of sharing :w00t:

thanks all for your replys

Someone never understand about UseNet is that they get much more than what they pay for it:whistling
So just ignore them.:D
Donation? lol
Think about your ISP and they hope their customers would donate them?
Advertisement? lol 1000 times
UseNet is not a web site, how can they earn $ from ads?

Again, there isn't free and good UseNet services.;)

try to get some stuff from usenet, see the speed, the quality of releases and after that you can decide to pay or not .. ;)

I came to usenet from torrents..I now only use torrents when the things don't show up on usenet..Can't beat the speed or the fact I don't have to upload and have my ip out there for all to see..Usenet is the only way to go..For 14.95 a month for unlimited downloading compared to the risks in torrents and ftps..No brainer..Usenet is here for good..

bye bye torrents for sure. biggest hassle was the uploading. Do yourself a favor and pay for a good usenet, you'll be happy you did.

I thought the same as you when i first started, try to get free invites free this free that, but at the end of the day you only get what you pay for.

I think this forum is great to direct you to things for free. But it's true you save a lot of money by paying a few (pence) each month, year, than what you would pay to buy the album, film, or games. So just ask yourself how much you would pay for a film and what you would pay for unlimited downloads from a good newsgroup.

Personally i use newshosting and newsleecher, they are great and have saved me a lot of money.
