hi... experiencing really slow download rates on utorrent which i didnt at the start.. do i need to begin sharing my files and if so how? please help

You probably need to forward your ports if you dont know how check the link below and look for your router.

It might be that your ISP has put you on some fair usage policy.....

dont think so because rapidshare and other upload sites are still fine

When i was on some other company they enforced some kind of p2p fair usage where i was throttled only on p2p during peak hours but not the actual sites like rapidshare and stuff.;)

Anyway, never blame it on utorrent. Also depending on your connection type, it does help binding your ip address using the advanced config tab.
