When I play Gta 3 everything works fun but the words and writting are just blocks and cannot read them.What is wrong

Dude, you need a special update from windows update. You have Xp with an amd chip and an nvidia video card right? I had the same problem. Look through this forum and others. I am sure there will be a link somewhere.

you need the service pack 1 for windwows xp!!
