Wow they must have a ton of free bandwidth. People are gonna leech like theyve never leeched before :D I can only get a few KB getting headers (newsbin will only use 1 connection) but im gonna use 8 connections to download.

Easynews is testing their new usenet server
Easynews Phoenix AZ USA claims that easynews.nl is no part of them.

It is running Diablo software and posts are damgaged by the Diablo posting bug.

Right on
My ISPs service is good, but sometimes I cant complete everything. The free ones i have now fill in the holes pretty good though. This one looks pretty good.

Thanks alot

Doesn't work here. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

I'm happily using this and any missing pieces are automatically filled in by slower free servers.

thanks for this, trying newsgroups out for the first time although to be honest bittorrent seems faster, easier and im able to find more files so im not gonna end up signing up to a newshost (is that what their called?)

Thanks.
First time trying pay server.
Just a question... I heard Binage has invites, but is it worth digging for them?
Like speeds, retention, etc.

hi mesaman

i have downloaded a few releases which were all incomplete and now i'd like to fill the missing chunks with data from another server. is this possible and if so, how should i proceed ? thank you :)

No it is not possible, except by repairing with QuickPar. You have to connect to multiple news servers simultaneously and try to download everything complete all at once. If you have downloaded incompletes and there are not enough PAR2's to repair them you will have to download them again from the beginning. The trick is to configure the newsreader to automatically fill in missing pieces from another server as the download progresses. This server might be fast but incomplete, and another might be slow but complete. They will complement each other. Be resourceful and learn how to use the best of both simultaneously.

Hows the upload on the first server? I have a friend working on an OSX86 build and needs an account to upload with. I'm tempted to give him my info, but would rather give him a beta account if possible.

Is the bug occuring with both upload and download?

Diablo bug is a highspeed upload bug. The posts can usually be repaired with PAR2 files.

Retention is short and about 6-7 days
