How do you know? There url is still active!! Is their mirc channel still active too? I traded a bitmetv account for a fresh torrentit invite....the site was closed like 2 days after i made my account!! Where is the justice in this?

How would that user you traded too know that TiT was going down in 2 days and if you feel screwed just put yourself in the shoes of the owner of that site and I bet that feeling would triple.

Why don't they give up their url then? And did they get busted by the fbi or something again?

Because they probably dont want for someone to make a killing by setting up a site with the same name and maybe even tarnishing there good reputation that they have.

What a sad story....what again was the cause of torrentit being shut down? Were they caught by fbi or something like that?

They were shut down for 1 reason or another. Does it really matter as to why? The sites never coming back and for their own reasons. No matter how you look at it your login wont work.

It was a good site so sorry closed for the reasons they did.

The still have there COD2 sever going and alot of the admins from TIT are there. A MPAA like group called Brien visited the Site owner at home and threatened them w/ fines and lawsuits..I don't blame them for stopping.. I never heard of the invite trading thing.... It was a Dutch based group.

I was a member when TIT was called 123 torrents..

What would torrentit be rated if it were still here? 4?...5?

Id say at least a 4 if not more. When it was alive, i only put it behind Sct as one of the best trackers around.

What made their site so good was the vast selection of custom as well as scene xvids (and files in general).
It was acctually one of my favorites for that reason.
