I've got to be honest with this one. If you'd have offered me these final group positions when the thing started I'd have bitten your hand off for it. I think most hoops supporters would admit the same.

And also, all 5 Brit teams going thro'. Can't be bad now can it.

They are certainly favourites and really should have enough to win it. However I think there's something missing in that team.

I's difficult to explain what, the best I can describe it as is a lack of spunk.

Thank you - and well done to yourselves for getting thro' as well.

With 20/20 hindsight, Porto scoring was the best thing that could have happened to us at the time. For the first 25 mins, we were shite but after that (reverting to 4-4-2), it was the best spell of footie in the Champions league we've played since the 3-3 draw against Real in 2001.
