Just to be clear, Matrix will be 3 parts. Harry Potter is officially signed on for 3 films, but they are only talking about making 5, not 7. One for each book just isn't feasible. That kid will be 30 when he finishes with 7 movies. :huh: Xmen has been signed to a 3rd film, but Marvel has made it clear that as long as people keep coming to see them, they'll keep making them. So there could be more. Lord of the Rings will be 3 parts, no more, no less. There was talk about doing a prequel of the Hobbit, but it was scrapped. Spiderman is currently filming a sequel in NYC, and a third movie is in the works. Kirsten Dunst has signed on for the third film, Tobey McGuire has not. Also, Venum will be the enemy in the Spiderman 3. B)

I also believe that there will be a Resident evil 2 and 3 and I saw a trailer for a house of the dead movie a couple of weeks ago.. it looked quite awesome :D

i will say that they made this movie xmen 2 already knowin a 3rd will be done if you seen the toons this is based on youll remember when gene grey became the phoenix. in the movie cyclops make a ref to how her , genes , power has changed , then go to a few scenes later all of a sudden her eyes light up with fire, then at the end of the movie shes surrounded by a haze of flame for lack of a better phrase, thats why i believe the 3rd will go on with that story line and prob tie up more of wolverines past. this is my opion isnt worth the time it took to type just wanted to add my thoughts on it ,what do u others think

Any one who has read the comics, the SOURCE material for the movies, would know that x2 was a set up for the dark/phoenix storyline... and Famke Jansen confirmed the dark phoenix side on letterman, saying they would be going straight to it, so unless something changes between now and then, expect it...

Jibby, has venom been confirmed for the 3rd spidey flick? I know doc oc is the next one, with lizard on side role ihave heard... Venom makes the most sense for a third, as him and oc, and goblin were the 3 primary rogues throughout spideys history... and wouldnt it be bad ass... to see a digitalized venom... mmmmm

and your forgot another trilogy... t3... which from what i hear... the last half hour should be quite a shock, as they are keeping the wraps on it, to not spoil it...

I think the centropy SVCD is still the best for x2, im not sure tho....
i got a shitty VCD quality one (from APM or one of those groups), but it isnt worth it, the film was pants in my view.
first one was better, but the acting is shite and all in it.

LOL...well after making 200mil of course Xmen3 is coming. I wouldnt count on it for awhile though...I would say 2005...but that year is already crowded as is...so Id say 2006. And I dont know if this series will just be a trilogy either...if they really want to stick to the comics..they can rotate in different actors to play different xmen...just like the comic xmen crew does. If the series was handled that way I think it could run for quite some time. Id guess that Bryan Singer would only be on for the initial 3 movie story arc though.
