You really dont make any sense you if only want Home. Look here why not just pro corporate you get the pro features and no activation.

You haven't said why you must have Home.

This must be the same user.

Tell us why you need the home edition.

Or just get to Corporate Edition. Better yet get one with SP1 incorporated.

Well your supposed to uninstall all anti-virus before u install a new OS. Also with your comp screwing up im sure its just a corrupt copy or u have some problems with your comp that need fixing. Because it is not a new OS fault that u get that, as long as its a full working copy.

IMO you're gonna have more problems with installing Home rather than Corp.

You are right one with Home u have to crack its activation and shit. A hassle that is a nuisnace and getting corp u wil get pro feature and way less hassle with cracking the activation. It is just so simple really.

Install Just Norton Internet Security 2003. You will have a Firewall and Antivirus. Works great for me. :)

I have an ISO of "WindowsXp Home Edition". I made it from my buddy's original CD. I never used it since I already have the PRO Edition. This ISO file is untainted and in perfect non-hacked condition.

You can legally have a copy of it, as long as you use your XP REGISTRATION Number from your original disk. When you buy XP, you are actually paying for that number, not the crappy disk that cost 50¢ to manufacture.
