I've ordered an inspiron E1505 and I've realized that I need more ram to run my wow priv. server.

The dell ram on their website is absurdly overpriced so I'm wondering if I can buy the same type of ram on newegg and still have it run at dual channel.

Lol... I'm looking for 1GB. Also if anyone is wondering, the ram is DDR2 533mhz if that'll help.
Not to be ungrateful but I just don't like ebay and want to know if buying another type of ram will run it in dual channel.

Froogle is always a nice site.

This is $55 lower than the price from Dell's website:

I've used froogle and the prices are pretty expensive there too

Gleetech uses paypal and yeah.. thats one of the main reasons why I hate ebay.

Froogle searches the entire internet for the lowest prices. If it's sold on the web, it's on Froogle. Find the lowest price there, and that's it.

In short, yes.
