Well, after possibly years of getting to it,
I've finally decided to go for the Creative Labs' 'Zen Vision W' (http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=213&subcategory=214&product=15752) portable media player.

I plan on going to the US (San Diego, Ca) and getting it from Walmart for $296 (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5192519) US Dlls.,
and a 3 year Service Plan for $24 (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4100378) Dlls more.
I did lots of comparison between the iPod, Zune and this one, that seem to be at the top of everyone else.

The thing is my current work, wich I love, consist of order capturing and so,
but a great deal of the time we are left with nothing to do,
so everyone gets to do whatever they want, like play emulator games, read,
listen to mp3s, etc.
So this media player seems the perfect thing.

I would appreciate if you could visit the links I provided
and maybe you can offer some last minute advice or tell me your thoughts on it.

thank U guys.

I'm in love,
in love with my new Zen Vision W, lol.
I did bought it!, but not at WalMart, as it turned out they only sell it via website, Damn... thought I now understand it.
It took me a couple of trys at different stores, but finally they had it at Frys,
thought they only had the 60 G vertion,
I had to throw like a $100 more than expected, but so far Im beggining to think it was well worth it.
This thing is beautiful, the video quality, the sound, everything.
I still haven't put my own content on it,
may be tomorrow I'll get to it.

Hey, I love the snowflakes!,
not as anoying as I would think they'd be.

nice, i had a look at that too but went over to the darkside and bought a 5.5g 80gb ipod :P

i would have got that but the longer battery life and larger storage swung me. The only worry is that everyones ipods break after a stupidly small amount of time :(

I've been exploring even further the features on this player and it still keeps me amaized
over how versatile it is.
It practically organizes all the music I put into it, by album, or singer, etc.
Also I just draged a 350 MB Xvid TV Show and it played without a single delay or glitch, and the video is very crispy clear.

I also found that contrary to what I was expecting,
you can browse albums by CoverArt, but sadly I haven't been able to make it work.
The cover art just won't show up.
I'll keep trying.

I'm glad you're enjoying your purchase. And did Frys have those electrical columns in firing order? For those that don't know. At the Frys in S.D. they have 2 30ft tall by 6ft around heavily shielded wire mesh columns. One on each side of the entrance. And every 1/2 hr or so electricity fires from top to bottom. Looks like lightening in a cage. It's wicked!
