Hey all I want to buy a widescreen lcd monitor to play my xbox 360 (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=566849#) on and I was just wondering out of these seven monitors which one would be the best to play an xbox 360 on. Also if anybody else wants to reccomend a monitor that would play well on a xbox 360 I am open for suggestions. I am looking for a 19-20 inch monitor that is widescreen with good picture.

Some of your links don't work ,sure like the price of the Veiwsonic one tho . I always liked them its like a Sony TV from years ago , good name .

I just bought an Acer 19" LCD Wide screen for $219 .00 Cnd . today as the price seemed pretty good .

The Dell is probably the cream of that particular crop but no matter what, make sure your vid card supports the widescreen resolutions.

I'm amazed at the prices Clocker, as I went Xmas shopping today . Most have a three year warranty on "parts and labour " as well . I found a 6.o MPX . Kodak digital camera for $ 140.00 can. at the same store, did a Snoopy dance all the way to the car . :D

I just set up mine tonite and let my youngest play his game called Day Of Defeat . He kissed me after starting the game ! Lol I reminded him that it was mom and dads gift .

To be honest whats the big deal ? The wide screen just makes my typing look bigger and can't really see many options to change ? But can understand when playing games you get a wider game field .

I love the Samsung syncmaster 940bx. it has 1000:1 contrast ratio and 5 ms, which most people say you really cant tell the difference between 2ms -8ms with the human eye. its just an amazing monitor. some people actually said it bleeds alot from the top and bottom but it did not happen to mine.

also benqs are pretty good.
