edit: hardest signup form i've ever done, get the confirmation email, but clicking the activation link simply gives me a blank page with the site url

for those trying to signup, u MUST follow these steps:

1. You MUST read the rules/FAQ. It wont let you past signup otherwise.

2. You need a 10 char minimum password

3. Password must have uppercase and lowercase somewhere.

4. If when clicking confirmation link from the activation email, you get a blank white screen with the sites url, then click "GO" ON YOUR BROWSER. not the word "go" on the website. There is no word go on the site. Thats "GO" as in the button on the right of the url bar.

5. Have patience. The images can be confusing at 1st. Basically they have a shadow behind, and the 1 that confused me was a small q that looked like a small number 9. The images are case-sensitive.

Keep trying. I had to fill up the form like 5 times before i got it to work (remember its case sensitive). Passwords need an uppercase and a lowercase. And dont forget to click the faq and rules link on the bottom or else it wont work..

HELLO = upper case
hello = lower case

case sensitive means it knows what case you are typng it in. :D

FYI, that letter that looks like a lowercase y but has a verticle side and kind of curves around in the beginning is actually a lowercase q.

He means the go button next to your addressbar. Adding signup.php to the url directly also does the trick, like the url others have posted before.

Yea thats a tough sign up.
Is thats a q or a or a 9 is that big lowercase f supposed to be Uppercase. Reread the rules every time you mess up. Wait for the timer on the Submit button. Password must contain Uppercase, lowercase and numbers.
Finally got it though, dont quite know if it was worth it though. Not as big of a DVD selection as I was hoping for. PiSexy has it beat in that category.

Guys, I dont see why you guys got piss off just because having some difficulty during signup proccess. They do that for a reason. Let say: there were 2000 new members signup in 12 hrs period on the first time opening. And this cause their server lag because too many ppl access on the site. If they just let ppl in one thing for sure, the server will be crashed in no time.

So be patient and try back again. You will get in !

The whole difficult signup thing is alright as far as i go because it makes sense given TB's stature ... what pisses most of us off is that even when you are not going to get an account since the user limit has been reached why do they still expect you to waste your time by going thru the difficult process and saying user limit has been reached even after you do everything right ... it is ofcourse their tracker and so their wish ... but they shud be considerate enough to show the user limit reached message before you attempt to sign up

I believe you only have to enter the first image with those letters then that " User limit ..." appears. They still put it there because they still let people to sign up in short period of time. ( They will change it when closed, you will see. :-/ ).
You can avoid it by going to the home page and see the stat, if it says 38000 mean you cant sign up so dont bother to do it. When you see its below 38000, here you go. That is how I see for the last 2 times they've opened, I could be wrong too.

the answer is - the site is full (Registered users 38,000), then an account becomes available (accounts pruned) , so 100's of people get to the signup page, but you are all trying to signup for the same account.

try again tray again.
If u achieved to enter signup page .

1. open faq and rules new page
2. your username must be lowercase letter and no number in your username
3. your password must be like this Catalname05 (must be one letters upper case and include number)

I agree with the comment on the community. It's extremely active and there are a lot of helpfull people there unlike some other sites I know which are pretty much "dead". TB opened sigh-ups at a good time, so for those that made it don't forget to check out the X-Mas section it's freaking awesome!

Don't bother - not worth the hassle.
You'll *probably* need to use the same proxy - if you need to use one at all - that you register with every time you do a transfer ( you may not of course - but most torrent sites personalize torrents per client IP. Gives em' a way to regulate stats amongst other things ).
Seeing as the proxy element is "out of your control" you're at the mercy of the proxy owner.
The root of the prob lies with TB. Until they change their code - if they ever do/can be arsed - I won't use em'.
Go ahead and try if you feel you must - I'd rather get laid meself ! ;)
