At the end of the installation I get this message:

"Unhandled exception:
Error number: 0X80040707
Description: DLL function call crashed:
DSETUP.DirectxsetupA.

SETUP WILL NOW TERMINATE (!)"

Any ideas, is my directx screwed or something, or what?

Help is highly appreciated B)

EDIT: btw setup runs fine, and seems to be nearly finished except for this directx shit, I`ve scanned the files with cdmage and no corruptions. I allso think I have DirectX 9.

you "think" you have directx9??

goto http://www.microsoft.com click downloads and download the latest directx to make sure you have, then at least you know you definitly got the latest 1 and that the direct x aint your problem

and also are you sure you meet the minimum requirements?

Yea I meet the minimum settings, and of course I have DirectX ;)
I`ll try to download the latest though and see if it solves my problem

JUst in case u didnt know u can run dxdiag to see your dx version ;)
Start->Run->"dxdiag"
