Well, ratios are just ratios, right? Doesn't kill you to have one below 1, and doesn't make you superior to have one above 10. Divide the numerator by the denominator; upload more than you download: no biggie.

WhileI can't say my life ends when my ratio goes below 1, I will admit that I become a little sad when my ratio dips after downloading something larger with no leechers :lol:

the problem these days concerns everyone being able to donate to boost their ratio at sites. how are you supposed to know they actually earned their ratio, rather than paying for it?

Maybe I'm paranoid, but Donating I think kind of makes you less anonymous, so the donaters are taking a chance

Hmmm these sites are considered pay to leech and suck completely. Although some sites like bitmetv, lots would not be able to keep a decent ratio without the GB bonus when they donate.

Not always case length time and activity on a tracker also counts .

I wouldn't give anyone who had a high ratio and only been on that tracker a week .
