I get broadband from NTL. It is a really good service and I am lucky because I live in glasgow (the only place in the whole of scotland where NTL broadband is avaliable). Who do you get yours from.

I get mine from Bezeq International, one of the ISPs here in Israel. It's a very good ISP, as are all Israeli ISPs i've used to far...

I'm also from Scotland and can't get cable, so I'm with BT.

Sorry - NTL and "good service" don't belong together in my experiance, been with NTL for 4 years - been using their broadband service since it was started, if i'm lucky i get though on the phone in 20 mins, if the connection stays up more than 24 hours at a time etc

But from other people I know it's better than the BT offering, and networking NTL is easier too - as the modem presents an ethernet port along with the USB - unlike the BT modems

I've been on NTL for the past 18 months or so and i've not had any problems, apart from 2 week ago which was only a minor one. That was a result of a n00b who didn't know what they was doing but at least I got 1 months free broadband from them :D

I use the BT BroadBand service and it's goooood....

Although my first bill that I just received is rather confusing, I may have be screwed over by them on costs, or it could just be to do with the first time charges etc...

Only time will tell!

Blueyonder. (1mbit service)

Had nothing other than very minor glitches. VERY helpful tech support even with more advanced queries. Good news server, good download speed and fair upload speed.

Only major niggle is some recent email problems, I think that's because of the changes they are making at the moment so hoping it will resolve itself soon.

Telenet, from Belgium. They are the fastest here but they have a stupid limit of 2 Gigs in Upload and 8 in Down a month.

I get mine from SBC Yahoo DSL... those new yahoo servers are faster than the original SBC dsl ones it seems cause i notice i can go up to 270kb/s at fastest sometimes. (instead of 230kb/s)

They gave me 2 bonuses also when i upgraded:

I could choose from a 400mb online storage, Stars Yahoo Game Player, and some other stuff. I chose both the 400mb online storage and got 800mb of online storage. I just use it to transfer over my whole student folder and contents at my school and stuff. They'd probably get pissed if i stored some warez on itz

I use Verizon Online DSL.

Good service, good speeds, reliable. I do feel a bit uncomfortable with their recent legal battles though.
