it is an offshoot of the bittorrent barnyard at something awful

after wdma became popular, something awful split into a forum and a separate tracker

it was a joke at the expense of the n00bs joining something awful looking for illegal content they could download, but were not able to find it

5 months later, wdma vanished as if it never existed

nah i never did understand why people would pay to use a forum....

thats just based on reading page 3 of that youtube link and while its never the best source for anything it did seem mysterious that an image hosting site wasnt accepting new signups...

lol, it probably is the site, and the forums are worth the 10 dollars, i've pretty much gotten payed back from freebees and coupons and stuff like that, its nice.

mmm, i dont live in the usa so the coupons are *probabily* pointless, i can use greasemonkey to get rid of the reminder on the top of the screen and im happy lurking.

On second thoughts, that sites in Ashburn Virginia which aint exactly the most intelligent place to have a tracker hosted so god knows what the real site is, sounds like a nice challenge to track down tho :P
