Debit Card/Signup

I wish to sign up to play.com using my debit card, but when it gets to the part where i need to enter the three end digits that are supposed to be printed on the signature strip i find that my card doesnt have any on the signature strip.

now i know that my card can be used for direct debit payments because thats what i use for my car insurance every month on the same card, but in the corner of the card are the words "Cash Card"

so can this be used for websites like play.com and such.....

if anyone knows it would be a big help:)

Sounds like you don't have a debit card, but indeed a cash card.

Your car insurance maybe paid via direct debit, all they need is your bank a/c details printed on your cash card, basically if it dont say DEBIT/CREDIT card, then it's probably not gonna be one.
