just watched this and it was GREAT! i'm a rocky fanboy all the way. this one brought us back to the original style and it did it well. 1 hour of story and 15 mins of training with an edge of ur seat fight for the last 30 mins. i thought it was a fantastic finish for a great series of movies. granted the fight really wasn't as great as i may make it sound, but damn man... rocky is old and he puts up a good fight. the guy he fights is just sloppy and out of shape and early rocky would had pwn3d his ass easily. good film and worth the watch at the theatres if u go.

I didn't think it was bad at all, but it was missing that little something that makes a movie "great". I'd love to be in that kind of physical shape when I reach my sixties, though.

saw it yesterday and liked it a lot, gives you that feeling of nostalgy. Great to see Rocky Balboa back!

I saw it a few weeks ago. Kinda disappointing, the fight didn't really seem like he proved anything or it was all that important since they put so much emphasis it was an exhibition.

On a side note did anyone else find it emotional at times? I don't wanna sound like a pussy but I did find some moments quite sad...

The best part about the movie is the boxing match. It looks just like an actual HBO Boxing broadcast with Jim Lampley, Larry Merchant and Max Kellerman.

I say overall it wasn't bad. One of the better sequels, that's for sure. And boy, oh boy was Stallone in shape! I can only wish that I will look like that at his age...heck, I don't look like that now!

Excellent end to the Rocky series. Most reviews I've read say that 'Rocky Balboa' is the second best movie of the series and I have to agree. Stallone has done all that could be done to make this a fitting send off for Rocky. There is a really good scene with Rocky and Marie sitting in the car that seems to be a metaphor for the actual making of the movie, because a lot of people thought it was ridiculous idea. Marie says "It doesn't matter how this looks to other people, all that matters is how it looks to you". Great line.
