I am stuck inside due to a rather large snow storm. Largest snow storm in 13 years. I didn't think we would see this much snow again due to the Global Warming situation.

Must just be a 'hiccup' in the scheme of things.

Certainly not.

It goes right on top of a pile labeled "Eeeeeeeevil Portents".

I have heard that Global Warming snow packs nicely and is great for snowballs.

Can you advise?

One more thing:

Did you hear?

The Global Cooling thing from the 70s was just a blip in the warming curve, which (rumor has it) began with the dawn of man.

I wasn't aware of that, were you?

It is very nicely packed.

And the evil pile you speak of was dumped by the City Boy's grader right to the street side of my vehicle...effectively blocking my use thereof.

I am sitting here considering all sorts of ordinance infractions, and 'evil' does enter into the equasion.

Warming their globes may be a possiblity.

My math teacher thinks getting his car to run on used vegetable oil is gonna help the global warming problem, yeah it might but not just you yourself. THE WHOLE WORLD WILL HAVE TO CHANGE OVER TO IT! damn vegans are brain dead.

Tonight I walked home, an hour and a half in rain.

So much for a white christmas...

Why the long walk home, could you not get a ride from a friend or get a taxi, damn acid rain is now in the pH2 region, it's well bad.

Info: European polluters, Germany, UK, Poland and Spain.

'Used' vegetable oil, huh? That does sound a bit 'corny.' ;)

J2...I had forgotten about the Global Cooling thing in the '70's.

And I think you are very right. This Global Warming was/is a man/human thing.

Hope you're enjoying the same snow blast that nuked us a few days ago, Rose.
We're still plowing out.

Oh, you know it, Clocker.

I made the mistake of complaining to a friend in your town that I was having to shovel 14" of snow off my sidewalk today.

When she was done with me...I was feeling guiltily grateful. :P

It's almost 50 degrees outside right now. I remember when we got, at the very least, a hint of snow. Just the other day it was 65.

I also wish motherfucker would stop shooting their guns....well after midnight.

At 12:10 my tolerance is 0 for that shit.

People must be watching the New Year's celebrations on Tivo or something.

Hi Busy. It would be nice to have those temps!

Do they allow the guns being shot off in town there? Or are there just too many doing it to police it?

By 'doing it' I mean shooting off their guns.firearms.

..That's probably because mankind is inherently an optimist. With the new year new hope it will solve the problem.

Now if mankind can solve the problem of its enormous ego, and realise how small a player he is in this solar system.. :)
