It was an rts type of game with building bases. It was not with regular troops etc. it was with creatures, but I think you where human, or at least had some humans on the team. The creatures was more like animals, rather than alien guys (if that made any sense), but the world you played on was some planets out in space.
I think you also planted plants and cut them down as resources (I think that the creatures ate them too?).
I don't remember how old the game is but it is definitively from before 2K.
I loved this game and want it in my collection of old games on a dedicated computer.
