Loads of 'em - it's like they're on some kind of menthol pilgrimage.

Finally, he's at a big club. Fill yer boots, Henke.

Yeah, he can do it in the FA cup but could he do it in a top league.

What a game, two goals scored by a couple of players with a combined age of 68!

JPaul
01-07-2007, 04:11 PM
And combined goals of over 500.

Quality is quality, Larsson looked like scoring right from the start and there was no surprise when he did. Thing is he's not just a scorer he makes lots of chances for other people as well and chases back to help in midfield / defence.

Not bad for an auld yin who couldn't prove it at the top level.

I'm surprised he was taken off, it should have been Rooney, who was having another stinker, I really want to see Larsson and Solskjaer playing alongside one another.

Probly saving his legs. They'll get more out of him that way.

I think Sir Lex thought the game was won.

:naughty:

He looked awesome today, pity we've only got him for a short while.

I think Villa should have sent Petrov to Barca for a spell on their bench and to learn his trade in training so that he too could cut it at the top level instead of looking pedestrian week in week out.

P'raps even come off said bench to turn a Champs League final. Giving his previous club an automatic place in the league stages the next year.

Nah, that's just mad talk.

Look, we off-loaded Stan for Van Helsing, Gravelstone and a few million squids left over. What's the problem. It's not our fault some clubs are so far in debt that they can only afford loan deals.

You think that's bad. I knew you were doing it and still posted. With a pathetic pop at your massive debt to make myself feel better.

Now that's just poor.

Posting with the heart instead of the head, it happens to the best of us

Not to me, like. Mulder mentioned it once.

Some things are, however, sacrosanct. Like if some unscrupulous person attempts to cast a stain across Ryan Giggs' flawless charactor.

Proper Man Utd fans don't give a flying fuck about the debt anymore cos we're top of the league again :01:

Agreed, he has a flawless charactor. It's his balance that's the problem.

These days, I'd say it's more his pace.

His balance seems pretty good

Possibly the worst play on words. Ever.

It could have been conjured from j2's own fair hand.

Btw, did you know that Giggs gives even more money to charity than Skweeky does.

JPaul

What charities but. The Welsh Narcolepsy Soci....

I really don't know, you'd have to ask her.

My guess is that Skweeky gives to Lesbionic organisations to make herself appear more interesting.

Did I ever mention that the event organisers didn't ask my mates and I back for haulage purposes the year after.

Quelle cunts.

This is the best news I've heard since Clem Attlee knocked a penny off the price of a loaf of bread.

Billy, do you know what the situation is regarding his eligibility for playing in Europe?

I know Helsingborg aren't in it but there's likely to be some devillish rule to preclude him from some or all CL matches with United this season.

Ava Estelle
01-08-2007, 10:51 AM
As far as I know he isn't cup tied at all, Fergie mentioned how many games he was eligable to play, and among them was both ties against Lille.

Get in! I'd not heard any mention of it at all.

Cheers for that :D

United drew Portsmouth in the next round, if we're gonna win it this year it looks like it's gonna be the hard way, which suits me, I hate it when United play little teams, the bastards never read the script!

Arsenal v Bolton
West Ham v Watford
Bristol City/Coventry v Hull/Middlesbrough
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest
Chester/Ipswich v Swansea
Cardiff/Tottenham v Southend/Barnsley
Barnet/Colchester v Peterborough/Plymouth Argyle
Birmingham/Newcastle v Reading/Burnley
Derby v Bristol Rovers
Sheffield Wed/Man City v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Preston
Man Utd v Portsmouth
Blackpool v Norwich
QPR/Luton v Blackburn
Wolves/Oldham v West Brom
Leicester/Fulham v Stoke

From what I'm told he's not cup tied. I don't think Helsewhatever played in any European Competition.

I knoes.

I remember when we signed Dwight Yorke, he couldn't play til the group stages cos he wasn't registered with Man Utd by the required date to play in the qualifiers.

I wondered if a similar scenario would be the case for Larsson now. It appears not :01:
