Also, usually more control over the game (graphics, custom control settings, the entire category/genre of RTS etc.) But then theres those damn console-PC converts like Path of Neo.

Ok but the PC sucks at game selection.

I agree certain games are best on PC like HL2 but the PC lacks too many killer games. Also setup isn't one-size fits-all.

You get a game for a console, you pop it in and play. Also the setup for a PC on a big screen isn't easy either.

Does one have the right graphics card?
Does it have component out?
What the fuck conflict do I have now?

On a somewhat unrelated note, I do like what M$ is trying to do with their online Vista portal, Windows Live.

I like my Pc for games.
I need to upgrade my card, I've been using a Radeon 9550 for the last 3 years and it's done very well for £45 :) not a single problem.

PC gaming.

It has the most games playable, the best games, the most varied genres, most sensible control set-up, is the most customizable (software and hardware), can emulate the most systems, has the best graphics and I don't need to "mod" (ie invalidate the warranty of) my PC to play copied games.

Second place the Wii, third place the DS.

I'll probably get a PS3 when the PS4 comes out like what I'm doing tomorrow with the PS2.

I know PC gaming is popular, and I do like The Sims on my PC, but generally I think games take up too much space & resource to bother.

As far as XBOX vs. PS3...I'm a playstation girl all the way. I've played both, and PS really is superior. If only it didn't have the high price tag. :dry:

I can't judge the PS3 since I don't have one. I've played Resistance and it's damn good. However, that's about the only great game right now.

I think the PS3 will trounce everything else but that's due to it's potential and Sony might.

Right now....

The 360 is the best pure console
The PSP is the most powerful handheld but shit on game selection. It's been out long enough for the games to get better.
The DS has the better games but is a less powerful handheld.
The PS3 ain't worth it yet.
The Wii is GREAT for parties but same old same old in the regular games department. If you have friends over regularly (plus some room besides your bedroom) and/or wanna get in shape, the Wii is quite noice.

That's smart. Stay behind the curve and save money. I do that with games and only get a new console if I can get a hook up on price.

Being first is not always best. Over here the PS2 is less than half it's original price, smaller, has built-in remote sensor and ethernet, and modding it is a cinch.

Even if you buy the games, they cost shit....but lets not start with crazy talk.
