The Scottish FA have announced they are going to award Rangers FC twelve points to make up for the damage done by their French manager, and to make the season more competitive.

New Rangers boss, Walter Smith, says he will do all he can to give Scottish fans the league they deserve. The twelve points will leave Rangers only five points behind Celtic, who welcomed the move.

I reckon the SFA ought to merge Rangers and Celtic to form a club capable of competing in the Premier League and build a new stadium somewhere more habitable. Like Birmingham.

Rantic, they could call the newly formed team which would compete in the English Premier League.

Then the teams left in the Scotch league would be on a par - albeit a par with Caersws and Porthmadog - but at least their league will be competitive.

Glasgow Rantic :01:

I reckon individually Celtic and Rangers could compete in the Championship.

They could move them to Leeds, I hear there's not much going on there, football wise.

Yeah, but you know what the Scotch are like. Ideas above their station and all that.

I expect they'd demand to be put in the Premiership straight off the bat. Mind, it would be fun to larf when they both got relegated with nary a win between them.

Speaking of Wise, Leeds couldn't be taken down by a nicer bloke than cheeky chappie Dennis. I hope he and Leeds stay together for a good while yet.
