Steel

Modern Half Dollar (they sell em through the mint...so you don't see em often in circulation)

They make em of Silver Plated, Pure Silver, Platinum Plated and Pure Platinum. (They can literally be spent as $1, but you'd have to be a complete idiot, since they all cost a shit load of $$$$$$s

Three Cent Info Here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-cent_piece_(United_States_coin))

I suppose they became a hassle after years of inflation.

Example if we used em today: Buyer: "What seems to be the hold up?" Clerk: "Sorry sir, I only have threesomes (3-cent coins) and couples (2-cent coins...hey, I gatta give em a nick-name like deh pennies), because I ran outta quaters, dimes, nickels, and pennies...plus I failed math...twice" Buyer: "Well I need my $0.87 change for the bus..." Clerk: "Alright...alright...let me finish double counting"
