There is a Firefox plug-in called 'Allow Right-Click (http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=341)', but it doesn't work in 2.0.

I haven't been able to find an updated version of it, and this says it will work with any version.

Any else have this plug-in or an update for it?

I thought 2.0 had this automatically in it?

If you untick the option "Disable or Replace Context Menus" in the advanced Java Script section, then the blocking scripts will not work, even though you still get the annoying "Right click disabled" alert windows still popping up, before the context menu pops up.

This is good enough for me, maybe that's why they stopped working on the extension

Is there any downside to to unchecking that option?

Disable or replace context menus

Deselect this optionpreference to prevent web pages from disabling or
changing the Firefox context menu.

It doesn't sound like it :dabs:

Doesn't work for me. At least not on the demo pages they link to. :dabs:

Well it works for me on those demos :dabs:

You still get the "can't right-click" message, but then the menu comes up for me.

In Tools > Content, are all of your boxes checked?

Yes.

In the Javascript - Advanced menu, the only one I have checked is "Move or Resize Existing Windows".

install the noscript extension. you won't encounter any restrictions when it comes to right-clicking on a page.

Next time get the Nightly Tester Tools plugin:
http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/firefox/nightly (http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/%7Edave/web/firefox/nightly)

Go into the options (tools -> addons -> nightly tester tools -> options) the check 'Disable add-on compatibility checking'.

Then you can install whatever old plugins you want. I haven't seen any not work yet. :P
