Recommend an alternative to Microsoft Office Word that loads faster. :rolleyes:

Open Office is really slow. Word is really fast. Notepad is the only thing I know of that's noticeably faster

I just tried Word 2003 and it took about 3 seconds on the first launch. After that first time it then dropped to about 1 second.

What's the hurry?

I use microsoft wordviewer it is way faster than the full word.

I agree, it doesn't take long to load at all. I'm not saying that cause I have a somewhat decent comp either :blink:
