It's colorful and cartoonish. I felt like a junior high kid while playing it. Thanks, but I'll pass on this one.

Fair play to Blizzard they must be doing something right to keep this kind of game popular for so long.

It's always good when the MMORPG your playing is popular, after all it's the people that make the experience, WOW just seems to snowball on.. I wonder when it's bubble will burst?

Couldn't agree more. I just don't like the cut of it's jib...

I'm not hating the game I just could never 'get in to it'

Personally looking forward to getting The Lord of the Rings online, Shadows of Angmar or whatever it's called. Should be an eye opener if they get it right and maybe even give WOW a run for it's money...maybe..

the one thing I can't get passed is you have to pay to use this game. So not only do you have to buy it, but then you've gotta pay a monthly fee just to play. After playing games like UT/UT2k4 I just can't justify paying a monthly fee to play a game.

The games you quoted are all FPS's, online maybe but they do not require the same level of maintenance that your average MMORPG requires. You won't be playing many MMORPGS unless you can get over that fact, well unless you like Guild Wars.....which is the exception to the rule.

$15 is pretty cheap for a month of entertainment. You can't even go for a decent night out on $15.

I don't see why paying monthly for this game is such a big fuss. I've been playing this game since March 2005 and my god i am still not bored of it. Blizz adds so many new content to it on a regular basis, its hard to knock the game off. For less than a buck a day you get a lot more than you pay for.

yeah, w0w seems like it would be really good, but my prob is i will get bored. i'd love a game to it's death for a couple of weeks and then i'd just move on for some reason. don't get me wrong i'd eventually go back, but then that's where the monthly fee cums into effect. u stop playing just to do other things like go outside or play another game for awhile and doing so ur character is now inactive. an inactive character will get deleting and then there goes all ur work. if i'm not gonna be playing the game i'm not gonna be paying the fee hence the inactivity also.

besides, i played maple story last nite (and this is free FOREVER!) for 9 hours straight, but that was be4 i took a nap. time to get back on. i got me some boars to kill...

If you just cut off the subscription or stop feeding it Game Time, your characters will be kept indefinetely.

We currently have no plans to delete frozen accounts or characters. If this changes, you will be notified via email well in advance.
Yep :)
