View Full Version : problems with xbox 360 homebrew games

could anyone help with homebrew 360 games.i can download and put them onto disc no problem,but when playing games in career mode i can go a few levels then a message saying unable to read disc.would be grateful for any help thankyou

what speed r u burning at and what disks u putting the games on??

make sure u burn at speed 1X or if must 2X but no faster and disks to use trax data are one if the best and if that dont make them work buy a new burner.!!!

using nec dual layer burner.datawrite d/l discs and burning at 2.4.just changed to verbatin d/l discs burning at 4 speed and at the moment seems ok

The best combination is Pioneer 111D burner, Verbatim media, and burning with CloneCD. Never have any problems with this combo. Many people say to burn at slow speeds but when I use this I just set it to max (8x) and never have any errors.

started off with the pioneer 111 but had probs.all seems ok with the nec and verbatim discs.use clone cd for patched and imgburn for non-patched.just got to master the art of duplicating with the acard 3 to 1 duplicator

I wanted to get into building a duplicator but wasnt sure what controller works best with 360 games.

You mean backup games not homebrew games (since the 360 can't boot unsigned code yet, and is only able to ignore the dvd retail check ->firmware hack)
