i mean at sites like torrentleech, where they only assign vip's by "doing something special" or "contributing in a special way". i know bitmetv and bitme just have upload and ratio requirements to become vip, but have you ever been assigned to vip at any sites? if so, what did you do?

Donate and you'll become VIP at most torrent sites.

so im just curious now is it only in poland so hard to become vip?

the only sites you can donate for vip aren't very good sites... and it only lasts for a month or so

Yeah, in RTT VIP is synonymous with donator. But I consider it a very good site. I haven't donated at any site, though.

At good tracker you need to contribute in some way to get VIP status.

If most places give you VIP for only donating, then why do people come here and trade their VIP accounts away?

I was given VIP status at the rather nice pale blue site with the Share Index (TM).
It was probably 'cos they just realised who I am.
Hasn't made any difference to my downloadability though - not that I'd take advantage if it did.

Same here as well, the Sites i am VIP one is mainly from associations i have made.

Basically you need to be a good active member and add something to the site and the community, and the VIPs will come. It will take some time!
