the great thing about filemp3 is that u will usually get awesome dl speeds, but it's kind of hard to see with everyone seeding before you...

as for oink, i didn't really like their tracker, too much bullshit and very difficult to seed

but yeah, ppl seem to love oink for the most part, but not me

Filemp3 opened the reg many many days i think 2 years .. and this made the users to do not seed just download and when disabled create a new account... but in oink you can reg just in invites and u have to seed or disabled ....
i dont now what FileMp3 will become >> but i think Oink Is Better

we are talking about two completely different trackers

the one is completely dependent on scene and the other almost completely on personal rips

if you are a music fan you should have them both and if you add and emule for some rares you need nothing else

it really sucks the way they switched around the wait times at filemp3. there's a 3 hour wait time if you have a ratio under 1.5. that's a bit ridiculous. they're clearly in it for the money, and nothing more.

In oink you can find allmost everyting but it is hard to seed...
in filemp3 you have good dl speeds and its not that hard to seed :)

I always download from Filemp3 if it's there first. Oink is obviously better all around, but you will also see alot of not-so-popular scene content at Filemp3 days if not weeks before it's upped to OiNK.

I know plenty of stuff hitting Oink pretty damn early, but I've never used Filemp3, so I really don't know how it compares in this regard.
Would be very surprised however if Oink got new stuff late seeing as how much seeding something new is worth...

well to get a decent ratio at oink you pretty much have to rip something that's not up there, because it's damned near impossible to do it just downloading.

Which also means that there's a ton of stuff on oink (although not everything).

I've had to dig out my CD collection to try and find stuff that's not up there.

Of course I also realized that I managed to lose a CD that's not up there-found the jewel case but I can't find the disc...pissing me off extra since it'd probably be good for a few gigs. Ugh.

It's impossible to seed on OiNK. And that's why I hate it. I use it and I'm going to stop using it after I reach the 5gb mark cause that is when they start caring about ratios.

They need to make it easier to seed on there.

oink is just so flooded with seeds that its impossible to make your own mark. unless you jump on something big (and popular) early and finish it early. thats about the only way i can make strides on oink.

still love the place though.
