whats the difference? is BitmeTV really THAT much better? or does BitmeTV just have hard to get stuff?

It has slightly better pre-times. People on bitmetv seed for longer as well.

i'd like to find a good tv seasons dvdrip site..

bitmetv is mostly just for new episodes that come out it seems.. and you can get that on any public tracker too.

yeah actually I take that back.. maybe it was bit-hdtv that I had searched on.. I just went back to it and searched for what I previously had and there are results now.

thats the problem - if you cant get invites how can you compare ? been using tvtorrents for a month now site seems very profesional and plenty of choice.

BitmeTV has "HR HDTV AC3" versions of all running tv shows, since the scene started to make them.
Regular HDTV scene releases can be found on public trackers but the HR HDTV releases are more difficult to find. The fact that BitMeTV has all of these, plus the fact that you can find virtually every series there make it a great tracker. In addition it is one of the best seeded places I know of.

i dunno.. im a member on both sites and the only real difference is that bitmetv has rarer shows like fullhouse. TvTorrents has more seeds for their files and older shows are better seeded....

TVTorrents

Season 1 - HDTV: 17 seeds & 20 leechers
Season 2 - HDTV: 117 seeders & 25 leechers
Season 2 - HR HDTV: 6 seeders & 1 leecher

BTW, DVD Rips are better quality than HDTV scene releases. That's why at BitMeTV they replace the HDTV scene releases when the scene DVDRips are out.

its easier to upload at tv torrents because of the large userbase, thus also more content... but i'd say bitmetv has better content, not more, but better.

no... u dont have to pay u just have to upload a little to show that ur not just a leecher OR u can pay and get 1gb UL credit

bah... typical! i've always had a good ratio on TvTorrents... but they still insist on donations...

So now I just need to find some kind soul with a spare BitMeTV invite... ;)

I had been using TvTorrents for the past 2 months and I tought it was pretty awesome....
Just got an account in BitMeTV 3 days ago and I must say... WOW!!!!! :blink:

Ok everyone says bitmetv rules and so on. But for all of us who do not have an account there (yet?). Could someone try to explains whats makes it better than tvtorrents? Are there more content? Better DL speed even for old episodes? More rare series and episodes?

tvtorrents is a very good site. What makes bitemetv better?!

BitMeTV has ALL the shows that TvTorrents has.

+ 98% of them are DVDRip (when available)
+ has even more shows
+ the download speed is incredible... you can get up to 700kps with "only" 20 users" (something I never had in TvTorrents)
+ since it's a private tracker they have the Hit N' Run rule. This way everyone stays seeding for a long time.
+ the torrent that had fewer seeds (that i've seen so far) was one with 8 seeds.

In TvTorrents there are a lot of torrents with only 1, 2 our 3 seeds

I'm not sying TvTorrents is bad tracker... on the contrary. It's quite good...

But BitMeTV is... :01:
