How can I improve my upload speeds?

I just did 2 bandwidth tests and here are the results:

I'm using uTorrent 1.6.
I have my upload speed settings on 0 (no limit), but they typically don't go above 30 kb/s, while download speeds are often 500-600 kb/s.

many providers cap the upload speed very low....if that's the case u can't do much about it...make several speed tests and see the results

you need to talk with your isp and ask them about raising your upload speed

Is your Firewall setup right ? I had my Comodo config. wrong on open ports that limited my up and down speeds .

Sorry, but that might as well be in German. I'm not tech-savvy enough to understand that article.

The only firewall I use these days are the default ones built into WindowsXP, Firefox, and Norton AV.
