How Big is your Buffer?

I thought it would be cool to know all your buffers.


If i take all the sites i have and had, i have a buffer of around 12.00TB

for the sites i have now, because ive traded them, or given them away for free :P i now currently have a buffer of 5.79TB

maybe 20gb? and thats just due to the various christmas free leech's. I try and keep to a ratio of 1.05, no sense in going higher since you get power user at that ratio mostly.

What is the point of huge buffers anyway? Most sites will give you a warning if you hit & run, so I only keep a buffer of 20 Gigs or so per site.

Myself I just like to seed plain and simple. Over 95% of the stuff I download I never even look at. Just delete it soon as I am done.

I generally have anywhere from 40-80 GB buffer on the larger sites. On smaller, harder to seed sites I have 5-15 GB. I like having a large buffer on larger sites in case some big pack comes out and I'm late on seeing it, it doesn't ruin my ratio.

I don't know much about internet speeds but i'm sick of my 170 KBs down and 40 up.

hmmm a 1Gig unmetered is about 4000 a month so

divide the hypotenuse subtract the hyperbole hmmm
we're looking at about 40,000.00 a month :P

and 60 a month isn't bad for that kinda speeds. If i upload non stop for a whole week I'll upload around 15 GB ;)

I figure I got good speeds off someone else so I might as well give them good speed. On most DVDR I dl off TL I will seed between 80 - 300gigs on em before I remove em.
