i thought this film was pretty good, but imma say the illusionist was better. i'm not gonna give it away, but there is just 1 trick u prob won't understand until the very end of the film. everything else is pretty self explanatory. not a bad film, but i had been waiting to see this for the longest time and i finally got to see it and wasn't completely satisfied. all-in-all, a very decent film. 8. oh, and scarlett is pretty cute.

Batman Wins!?

I hope it ends up being better than the Illusionist. I came out a lil disappointed after watching that though I wanted to love the movie. Lookin at the previews, it looks pretty good and with Scarlett, mmmm she's lovely:naughty: , I'm gonna prolly like the Prestige more because of the more action thing.

Just watched it last night and found the movie to be very good. Its a little confusing at first because of the jumping around to different timelines. One of the better "twist" endings I've seen and keeps with the theme of magic in that most secrets to illusions are very simple.

It is a wise movie. You can't leave without thinking about what you just saw : sign of a damn good movie.

i loved this movie. Definitely superior to the illusionist. Both Bale and Jackman did a superb job. In fact they're perfect for the roles. Michael Caine and Scarlett Johansson had minor roles but they were effective as well. The ending was like a cherry on top, leaving no plot holes open.

Excellent. The question is has Nolan ever made a bad film? I haven't seen all of his work....

Illusionist was similar but much better.

I thought the prestige was better, and my family thought the illusionist was better.

The Illusionist had a better story to it and I like how they never revealed how Norton performed his tricks. I liked the action in the Prestige better so they pretty much even up in my opinion; both very good movies.
