A while back I about how I got a car for Christmas, but never posted pics. Well, I figured someone here might be interested in it..so here you go:

Its a work in progress, me and my dad are building a sub woofer box and installing the sub woofer system this weekend. Should be fun.

What speakers are you using, apart from the sub, like, andrew?

Not a bad setup just hope the in car stereo speakers are alright otherwise it all sounds distorted at loud volumes.

I had a 14 inch bass tube in my old sound system banger which was a vauxhall astra mk1 (http://www.motorbase.com/profiles/vehicle/picture.ehtml?i=1662038226;p=476910361).

had that for about 3 months before it pissed me off and got shot of it. My brother now has it.

I got the car for free with a years mot [the fella owned a garage in chiswick and wrote me one out] it seemed rude not to take it and the stereo was a bad idea i admit but how else was i gonna look gansta like.:afro1:

I leave whatever stereo system the car comes with in the car. I only wanna hear the music while I'm inside the car, like.

Oh, I think I added a CD player once - well, I didn't - I got some bloke who likes potching about with cars to fit it.

The stock ones, but im going to replace them in a few months when I have a few hundred dollars saved up.

Takes 2 5.25's and 2 6X9's, going to hook them up to atleast a 120.4 amp.

I was given the astra by my perants when i was 14 so i could learn bout cars, i worked on it and she passed her M.O.T ...just befor i was 17!!

hactually the fella owned a garage in chiswick and he got it as a trade in for another car. He wanted shot of it. It was either give it away with 1yrs mot to me or scrap it which cost £25. I was in need of another car after my ford escort blew up on the motorway and as they say never look a gift horse in the mouth.

maybe i should point out that webpage isnt mine but the car was pretty much identical to that one same colour and looks completly knackered [except the glass was still in my headlamps] so i posted the site.

I built a nice sub box today for my 12''. Ive got all my amp stuff layed out, its just too damn cold to go outside and install it :(
