I have seen threads about the best reg cleaner before but cant find them so sorry for rasing this again

what is the best reg cleaner to use i have used the crappy free ware one but thats useless/

Don't be sorry, everyone should be here to give each a hand, arm, etc :D

As for me, I am thoroughly satifisfied with Registry First Aid
The latest version out is v3.0.1, use it and see how it works for you, simple to use and effective that's the only reason I haven't deleted it from my hardrive yet

Deletes leftover registry "uninstalls" from applications and compacts your registry, in otherwards swishes it together for faster access.

Go to Astaforum.com, look for the SEARCH button, and type in REGISTRY FIRST AID

Jv16 PowerTools -freeware but good with a lot of options.
I disrecommend Norton Utilities : I&#39;ve noticed it making very silly mistakes
(or you must select the manual correction-option)
