The Sims 7 In 1

I got this off bittorrent (http://suprnova.web.siol.com/). It`s an exe file with the sims and all expansions and it seems to install fine, but when I try to run it I get this message "Could not find the sims data directory". Any ideas on how to fix this? B)

If you downloaded The Sims 7 in 1:
        "installed the game first, you can do it by going to 'run' then type 'regedit.exe', then look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, open the              software,folder then Maxis -> The sims file, on the rite hand side look for SIMS_LANGUAGE then open it, change the simplifychinese to USEnglish
        then run the game."

Yea I know, I`ve allready done that and I don`t think thats whats causing the problem.

on the sims icon

left click, choose properties & change the following:-

|Target| "x:\install dir\sims.exe" (Note x= target drive (i.e. C:) and Install dir= where the game is installed (i.e C:\GAMES\SIMS\SIMS.EXE)

|Start In| "x:\install dir" (i.e C:\GAMES\SIMS)

or quicker way

left click, properties, highlight all in the TARGET box, copy, paste into START IN box, delete the \sims.exe from the command line

so you are then left with the above |START IN|

hope this is not too confusing, but it works

Do you have a filename or something? There are files for the sims and all the expansions there.
