Banned from Oink because I was to generous

This and last week I give out 5 invites to people of this forum. And someone of them sold invite on ebay and today I got banned from Oink...I'm suffering because of my generosity. One thing I know for sure, we can't trust members with Rep points too, because all invites was given to members who had rep points and ratio proofs provided...

I contacted them on Irc Chanell, but they only told that one invite was sold and banned me from Irc not even listening what I tell to them.
P.S. my IP is static.. :S

I just called my ISP and they told me they don't do that. But in few weeks I will buy wireless router and I think when they will reconfigure my MAC address my IP will change to... Ah well.

I've had the same problem with oink but luckily wasn't banned they just took all my invites away for life. Friggin guy I gave an invite to ended up giving it to a friend and then the idiot got banned.I'm just happy they didn't ban me cause then I'd have to kill them.I love oink.

looking through some of the threads recently it looks to be on the increase selling invites or trading after someone generously give them 1 i say ban them for ever i for 1 would never sell an invite proberbly too honest for my own lik ing

well he could try but odds are it work matter. Mostly because most sites now also warn and or bann the person giving the invites out. What some people dont get is them invites are tied to you. You could be the best user on the site, but because you used poor judgement with your invites now cost you.


Its why i always tell people make sure they know on WB that if you invite a loser your butt is also on the line.

It is a pity that I had Ratio >3 there with about 13 Gb down and > 40 Gb up... That was hardly earned Upload , as you know Oink is very hard to keep ratio... Ah well I already accepted the fact that I'm banned from Oink..

I dont think banning you is a fair decision. You got life sentence on the site. Everybody should be held responsible for whom they invite, but banning its too extreme, especially for a pu+ at oink.

You really had some bad luck with the repurcussion of this particular case. I saw people being taken their invites because of their invitees. Not banned. Ip banning is really harsh. And makes everybody weary of giving their invites fearing similar consequences.

I had a ratio over 5 and over 65 GO uploaded there. Yesterday my account got disabled because of this seller. DO NOT INVITE SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW, that's my 2 cents.

I think you should. OiNK has like the most strict policy about invites, and they often not only punish the invitee but also the inviter.
I for one have never given out invites to OiNK, and I never plan to. I'd feel more safe giving out invites to SCT than to OiNK.
