free invites...

I gave away almost 5 hdbits invites here in this forum as well as 2 in others. I traded 3 times i remember. Never got rep, or never i asked for it. I got 2 rep, both got from trading invites, not any for giving for free. Why i say this is people here are asking rep in advance for TL invites. You can see some active posts in the first page. I asked a memebr here for TL invite for my friend as he was giving out for free, he is giving more importance to adding rep points. They, in real sense does not deserve a rep. Please do not encoirage such persons.

Okay, i posted my ratios in many "free invite " posts and got nothing yet, except for a genorous person did it for no personal advantage. He is Nick. I appreciate him. I couldnt get into rsr or iplay or WB yet even it was open for sign ups many times. So here, i'm asking. if anyone would like to give me one for free, he deserve the most appreciation in this forum.

I have a bitspyder invite ATM to give away. If someone accidentaly get into this thread to see what it is, and really needs a bitspyder, feel free to PM me. Also mention why you need it. I do not demend any ratio requirements.

I think he meant ... that its wrong or should not be encouraged where ppl, who give free invites, are asking for reps beforehand and then handing over the invites.

Reps are more so for trading and not for free invites.

Correct me if i m wrong.

I used to disagree insomuch that I felt that invite giveaways were deserving of rep points no matter what. However, I've changed my stance because of the rash of scammers with a lot of rep points (i.e. Servenet). This has rendered the point system useless (f***ing again!!!), and now we have no means to go by other than gut feeling and prior trading experience.

The points really don't matter anyway, because we all know who's been around for awhile and who the shady characters are.

I don't really like it either when people who give free invites are asking for rep points.
Of course it's nice from them to give invites, but if they're doing it for free then they shouldn't ask for anything back (and be happy if people add rep points on their own, not because they've been asked to do so)
