They are basically trying to spook the large percentage of sharers
that might believe that the RIAA can actually DO something to them.
"Stupidity is stronger than chains." -Joseph Stalin
The way I see it, the record labels have been scr*wing their customers
for years...The manufacturing cost for a cd is almost the same as for
a cassette tape. Retail prices... Cassette $10, CD $16...
What comes around, goes around....priceless. LOL :P
Oh yeah....There's a TON of bogus d/l's (looped song fragments)
for Staind's '14 Shades of Grey'. Judging my the massive bandwidths
and only 1 or 2 users it looks like an organized effort (by a rec. co.?)
to make it a hassle to d/l the legit tracks as there are multiple file
sizes and filenames for EACH track...all bogus.
Search "-21st" with 'staind' for artist (under 'more search options')
I found all tracks with this logo to be legit. L8R....
