I just want to know if there is a difference between (sig2dat) & (bit torrent)

Yes.
A Sig2Dat is a signature file of a larger file(mp3, avi, etc) It is like a fingerprint. This is important in locating and downloading the proper(non-fake) file. It is used on the fasttrack network.
Bit Torrent is a different form of file trading using a different protocol than any fasttrack clients(i.e. KazaaLite).
