Well, the movie coming out tommorow but since it's not extremely popular we probably won't see a cam or anything for a day or two after. I however am looking forward to it since I think it's gonna be pretty funny. Jim Carry is a funny guy but he hasn't done anything in a while. And since I don't want a "lot" of threads on this I thought I would make this early so there's hopefully only one or so.

Yeah, I've been searching the web for releases but none have shown up. Perhaps my newsgroup friends has seen it, though I doubt it. It is just not the same as Matrix or X-men 2.

Anyways, I think dumb and dumber was the worst Jim Carrey Movie ever...with that stupid Jeff Daniels as his side-kick. I think I laughed three or four times the whole movie. Cable Guy was great and so was The Grinch, Me, Myself & Irene ("sucksuck...mama") and The Majestic.

I think Bruce Almight will be great. Hope you guys but up a sigdat link asap.

Actually, it appears there are three releases on VCDquality. One cam, one telesync, and an internal rip. The internal rip looks really good. I hope this movie is funny. Jim Carrey has been disappointing me as of late. :huh:

svcd is just a waste of hd space and an inferior format anyway. for even 700mb, divx still smokes svcd in quality and bitrate. VCD=mpeg1, SVCD=mpeg2, DIVX=mpeg4
Hopefully a little later somebody will convert it to Divx, saving us time and money.

SVCD is much better quality than divx, but the filesizes are larger. Besides, you can&#39;t burn divx to disk to watch in your DVD player. :huh:

Well Crazy billy bats I think there are a few dvd players out there which take divx. Hopefully it will be a standard feature on all players sooner or later.

what the hells a KISS player??&#33;&#33; Yo Bill...the KISS player is a DVD player sold in England that will play Divx 3.1 and up, plus XVId, SVCD, and VCD. Plus it will play DVD-R&#39;s with mp3s on them...and of course itll play normal ol dvds also.

Hopefully it will be a standard feature on all players sooner or later. Im going to have to say later on that one...the MPAA knows that Divx is the pirated film standard...and they will do everything in their power to stop electronics companies from releasing their dvd players with these features.
