So we don't get into an argument or debate on what is metal and whats not ive called the topic "Power Metal bands" so no one put in so called NU Metal in here so we dont get debates please. heres mine

well i dont get the power metal thing... to me power metal is metal with high pitched vocals, keyboards and all that... my fav ones would be

Stratovarius
Sonata arctica
Rhapsody
Angel dust
Yngwie malmsteen (songs with vocals... others are just i dont know not really power metal but still great...)
Avantasia

a couple others too

as of metal in general In flames would be my favorite at the moment...

yeah I just put Power Metal as the main title of the thread and added a few others, and anyone can say other types of metal apart from "Nu Metal" which really isn't metal I won't mention any groups names i'm sure we all know.

as for power metal yeah it is hard to define what it is high pitched voices well... I would say the vocaist that can actully sing and have a good voice is power metal rather then screaming keyboards yes but doesn't have to be
