Try mirc its easyyou just have to connect to the same network.
Never tried it but it is easy,dont know how fast though.

Just use AIM, I think it's faster then ICQ or MSN when it comes to file transfers.....
It'll be just as fast as FTP or IRC.

Use a room in Soulseek, just agree between yourselves which one you want to use. One of you can create the room and the other can join him there. Then browse each others files and download the one you want. Speed will be as fast as your connections will allow.

Or agree a hub on Direct connect. On the assumption you can both access it.

Just put it in you kazaa shared folder and give your friend your ip address. Then your friend can go to:

http://your-ip:1214

And download it from there. Your friend doesn't even need kazaa or k-lite.

For clarification.

The above looks like a weblink. The chap almost certainly intends for you to type the ip in - where it says <your-ip>.

Remember kids, never give your ip to strangers. Particularly if it&#39;s static.

I&#39;ve used WS_FTP95 LE and it&#39;s free from www.download.com (http://www.download.com)

File share pro works fine and it a joke to setup. It&#39;s not an FTP prog, it&#39;s HTTP based. Try it and I&#39;m sure you&#39;ll like. If you try it though download the free PRO version as it has a few extra features. You cant resume/pause downloads on the trial but maybe on the full version.

that wont work as its no longer possible to link to someones shared folder via a browse as this was an obvious security flaw it has not been possible for a while in fact the only way u can browse files in ie from ur shared folder is to see ur own files but u cant see someone elses

They only trying to maximize their sales&#33; be as it may, bittorent is going to die quite soon. Its too easy to access these files, its like website based p2p. The guy who wrote this needs to pull his head out of his ass and realize that was a big mistake making it too easy to share filez. perhap his programming skill lacked so much that he can&#39;t write a real one like kazaa, dc, irc etc. what he did was illegal because he hacked ie download manager. I&#39;m fed up with downloading crap off most cheezy bt website anyway. RIP.
